Rodolfo Alcala

Web Developer & Computer Engineer

About Rodolfo Alcala

I recently received my Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering Technology. During my schooling is where I loved to program everything from software to robots. Doing embedded programming then switching over to program a software has its challenges but in the end it all comes down to the basics.

I consider myself an "Open Source" programmer. But I am adaptable to any programming language that comes my way. I recently acquired the skills of web development for my current employment. I've learned the basics in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript and jQuery. Have done some work with frameworks such as Laravel 5 and WordPress and have come to really love the Laravel framework. It is easy to understand and implement.

Served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for 13 years with 6 years of active duty. Even though I don't wear (mostly because I don't fit them anymore) my uniform doesn't mean I will not serve my country or the great people that live in it. So here I am, ready...
